Elica - still the best Italian place to work

For the second consecutive year, Elica has been nominated the all-Italian company that’s best to work for.

The company, founded in Fabriano in 1970, has in fact been placed fifth – after four Italian offices belonging to multinationals – in the Great Place to Work Institutes recently announced Italian charts, which classifies the top 35 companies in terms of quality of working climate out of a sample of 100.

A result that only goes to confirm what emerged from the 2007 survey, once again demonstrating Elica’s commitment to putting into action – through the numerous initiatives aimed at employees and their families – concrete proposals designed to improve the company’s working climate.
And it’s an even greater success story when you take into account the fact that the chart is based on what the employees themselves say, created as it is using questionnaires filled in by thousands of white-collar workers, up to management level, throughout Italy. Testimony from the heart of the workplace shows that the most important aspect that helps people appreciate where they work is the relationship between colleagues and bosses, as well as the sensitivity shown by the organisation towards people and their families.

“Elica looks after its employees without being paternalistic” and “Even though I’m not a university graduate, the company had faith in me, and I’ve now reached a level I would never have imagined possible” are just a couple of the comments that appear on the Elica workers’ questionnaires.

Even through moments of international economic crisis and difficulty like the present one, the Fabriano company’s number one priority in its growth strategies is clear – a committed investment in the people that work there.
